Hair transplant in Turkey: Reviews

I had a hair transplant procedure as my hair was starting to thin. It is too early to judge my own results as I just had the procedure 2 days ago however, based on results I have seen with other people who had the same treatment, I would highly recommend it. Other then the anasthetic injections, the procedure is painless. Sleeping during the first few days is also difficult as your head has to stay in one position. It is definitely worth it though and is excellent value

I was really impressed by the clinic. It is absolutely amazing. I have been to many private clinics and in many countries including the UK and France and I have to say that the setting is amazing (clean, welcoming, friendly…). The staff are absolutely amazing and everyone seems to know his role. It is obvious that there is synergy and respect among the team. It is also obvious that they value building a reputation, are looking at long term relationship with patients and understand the importance of word of mouth. The hotel is also really nice and clean and staff there are very friendly. It is also conveniently located near the hospital and very close to the center. I would definitely recommend it.

I was always a bit reluctant to go for hair transplant, however I finally decided to take the plunge, and singled out Clinicana from the options on this site, and I was not disappointed. The treatment consisted in standard FUE, quite a lengthy operation, and that obviously depends on the number of grafts needed. I would say it was definitely good value, especially considering local prices for the same operation.

I based my choice on the reviews on this site, though I have to admit I did not do much comparison. However I definitely was not disappointed. The clinic, at least when I visited about a year and a half ago, is run by three brothers, respectively taking care of the medical, pharmaceutical, and administrative sides. Mulham is the person who usually gets into contact with the clients. The whole procedure was very professional and that counts both for the general client treatment, as well as for the technical aspect. The staff is very nice, and try to provide assurance and confidence to nervous patients. The actual operation is not so painful, at least it was bearable for me. The anesthetic injections can hurt a bit, but they shall assure lack of discomfort during the operation. What was a bit challenging is the length of the operation, but I would say its worth it given results. Actually the most painful thing is the aftermath of the operation, when anaesthetic starts to wear off, and you start to feel the little punctures where units were extracted. That with the need to guard against touching your head can be a bit tough, especially for the first night, but with the supplied medication and some patience it is bearable. One minor downside is the lack of spoken English of the staff actually performing the operation. Some knowledge of English would help – however this does not really bother the client. Today after about a year and a half after the operation, I can say results are very good.

This is my second treatment. I did the first one for the front of my head and I liked the result so much that I came to do the crown part of my head. The people here is very professional and operation is done in 5 star hospital. The full treatment is very smooth and professionally done. I highly recommend it.

Great service. 5 stars. The whole procedure was explained step by step. Was even offered lunch. The doctors are very confident in their profession. I was nervous first but then had all my worries taken away when I noticed how organised and well informed they were about my needs and the technicalities involved. I am very happy with the treatment and cannot wait for the final results in few months time. Would strongly recommend this place.

Hospital is state of the art. Very clean and modern in every aspect. Easy to access. Hospital driver service was spot on, well spoken and presentable, on time pick up and drop off service from the airport to the hotel. From the reception to the treatment room everything was organised. Offered all the necessary medicines and also a pillow.

It’s been two weeks since my operation. The scalp has its new skin. And just waiting now for the new hair to emerge after 3 months, they said.

I was scheduled for operation as soon as my blood test came back from the lab. The one who performed the operation kept checking on me if I was okay during the whole process. I was asleep most of the time, which means that the pain was tolerable.

I was made to come back the day after to remove the bandage and wash my head. There was a bit of face swelling but it was taken cared of immediately.

Very professional and expert in the field. A bit pricey compared to others but all worth it. The administrative staffs are friendly and very helpful, from the time I contacted them thru internet until I arrived in Istanbul and returned back to Jeddah. I was given all the information I needed before and after the operation.
