I had an FUE hair transplant 4 days ago, 4800 grafts were extracted from the back of my head and transplanted on the front, top and the hairline. The operation time was 8 hours from 08:30 to 16:30.
The blood test was done 12 hours before the operation, on the next morning I went to the clinic where I met Dr Rawad and Mr Mulham who explained what will be going before, throughout and after the operation, they also answered all my questions.
The nurses started by shaving my hair, then Dr Rawad did draw the new hairline and he again told me about the main three stages of the operation:Local anesthesia, grafts extraction from the donor area, and transplanting the extracted grafts into the baldness areas. The hardest part was the local anesthesia of the donor area (trust me it is painful, but yet bearable).
The nurses Emine and Kubra were very skilled, responsive and gentle. On top of that they managed to teach me some Turkish words 🙂
After the operation I was given the the medicine and exact instructions. Thankfully there was no pain at all.
On the next day I went to remove the bandage. Day after, I supposed to go back for the last time to wash up my head but because I had to fly back to England on that Sunday so I had to do it myself (Mr Mulham explained it exactly, and it is detailed a printed document).
So far everything is perfect and the scars are healing remarkably.

I would like to thank Mr Mulham for his efforts which made my experience great, and my dream comes true. From the very first day I contacted him (early February), after reading the excellent reviews of Clinicana, he made his very best to answer my questions, assure my worries and give the best advices. He also welcomed my wife to join me without any extra charges. The Marti hotel where we stayed for 3 night is just fabulous, very near, 5-stars hotel.
Dr Rawad gave me his initial consultation after seeing the pictures of the donor area, he really surprised me when he said that we can transplant between 4400 – 4800 grafts (before that and out of my reading on the internet I thought they will be between 3000 – 3500 grafts only).
Abdallah, the driver who transferred me from/to the airport, is very nice and lovely guy, he gave me the best tips about Istanbul sightseeing and some other useful stuff. All the staff in Clinicana were really nice, helpful and easygoing.
I highly recommend Clinicana because of the excellent quality and remarkable services for reasonable price.
If I had to do this operation again, 100% I would chose Clinicana without a second thought 🙂

After the surgery of hair transplant and after the hair treatment I’d really recommend everybody else to do it here. They told me it would be a little bit painful during the antesthesia, but I felt pain only a couple of times, less painful than a wasp’s sting. The rest of the time, I barely felt something, and we are talking here about 4500 grafts. When they extract the grafts and implant them you don’t feel anything at all.
About recommendations, I must say they gave me the best of all, better than any of the clinics I have been searching to, either in Spain or Internet. Now that everything is finished I underline it, everything was perfect.

About the personal care, I must say I was really impressed by the warm welcoming and attentive staff, all of them are very kind and helpful. For me it was even better than in Ruber International, mainly because if you feel far from home and you don’t speak English you have here a wonderful girl from Granada helping you and explaining everything you need to know. Her name is Luz and she is a very valuable person.
About the medicines, you don’t need to worry about anything, they provide you with everything you will need, even a cervical pillow, perfect to sleep the following two or three days. I have slept very well, drinking a lot of water, in a nice room in Naz City hotel. It was so comfortable it reminded me to the Hilton hotel in Pto. Madero, in Buenos Aires. You have double of everything even if you are alone.
Mr. Mulham Attar speaks Spanish, he is lovely and very patient. I am so happy and satisfied that I have invited Mr. Mulham and Luz to my house in Marbella whenever they want.

In my honest opinion, the overall experience was world class.The staff was/is friendly, the GM is graceful and very informative and the facilities are world class. The procedure is long but ok, the staff is very focused on you and your well being. The hotel is located very conveniently on building away. Pre care and post care is is well thought through. To be honest the whole journey is great VALUE for money and I would strongly recommend this to friends family and the public.

My experience with Clinicana was amazing! I’m from Brazil but I live and work in US, I was looking for an affordable but good quality clinic since in US you will pay around 12.000 dollars for a hair transplant…
After searching for a lot of clinics in Istanbul, i decided to go with Clinicana because of the quality of service and the attention that they gave to me on the first contact.
Everything that they told me by message was 100% accurate when I got here. They extracted 4100 grafts and covered my entire front area, I still need more 1500 grafts for my crown but I’ll decide if I’ll work on that later.
The Hospital is super clean and new and the hotel (Naz City) is awesome.
Every single person at Clinicana is super friendly and they make you feel comfortable especially being in another country with a different culture.

About my treatment, I just can say “perfect”
Really they have done a great job and results are more than what I expected. I feel younger now with my new natural looking hair. There was no pain during the operation and I rested all the time. The staff was helping me and keeping me at ease.

The clinic is very professional, and they know exactly what they are doing. This makes you very comfortable, and confident that you are in the right hands. The treatment itself was quite quick, although the level of pain that you may experience will vary from person to person. Highly recommend this clinic, it provided an excellent service for a very reasonable price.
