Hair transplant in Turkey: Reviews

I had a hair transplant. It has now been 7 months since the operation. I am extremely happy with my progress. Particularly at the front. The hair further back is less advanced but this, I believe is the norm I am told I will probably still grow more at the front but as it is, I am very happy.
I would certainly recommend the operation to friends.It is extremely good value.

My experience with the clinic is excellent. They are very personable and the after care is, well, how it should be. You are always welcome to visit and get feedback.

Great FUE hair transplant.
Starting the first day of communication with the clinic all the way until I left with follow up questions , everything was just great.
Staff, Doctors, Nurses, all of them were very helpful. They speak many languages including English (something hard to find in turkey).
Treatment was excellent , you will feel pain during anesthesia which is normal but only for few minutes , other than that you will be wondering what shall i do for 5 hrs. I took a lunch break after 3 hrs then they continued, total time in the first day was only 6 hrs. of course transportation from-to hotel/clinic was arranged by them.
after surgery, i sat down with staff and they explained from A to Z what to do and they provided written instructions with language I prefer , also they gave me meds needed, and nick support for night sleep. not to mention answering questions needed, even after I went to the hotel they still answered my whats app after midnight.

at the same day after surgery you may feel stomach upset but that is normal , it wont last long make sure u have you good rest and sleep straight on your back ( probably this is the hard part for me)

I did my lotion wash early next day because I was leaving the country, I met them right on time, they gave me instructions again and gave me hat for rain and sun protection, they did the wash and explained to me how to be done with shampoo.

Arranged my airport drop with them.

All in all, I was happy with the clinic they are wonderful

Staff, doctors and nurses, and commercial communicating point were excellent, they speak many languages and good English. Even the driver who picked us up from the airport was good too.

They will answer your questions no matter what , they have patient and they trained well. They are professional and helpful.
I would recommend it for anyone who asks,

It was excellent from start to finish. they helped me in London end and was always available to assist me with my questions. On arrival I was picked up by taxi and it ran very smoothly and efficiently. The medical staff and the facilities were far superior to the ones in The UK. It was like a five star hotel. The Drs, nurses etc treated me very well and it dignity.

The clinic is excellent. I would highly recommend it for treatment. The hospital is spotless and like a five star hotel. Clean, excellent infection control and I am a health care professional myself and from a clinical perspective I was very impressed.

I am really feeling great to choose the Clinicana for my Hair Transplant. All the processes went as earlier communicated by them. I’ll wait for final results but I really want to recommend this clinic as the team is very professional and technically very sound in this field. From the Airport to the Clinic to the Hotel, top notch and professional experience. The day of the operation itself I was greeted by Mr. Attar and his staff of professional administrative ladies who helped before and after the transplant. I would definitely recommend the treatment for anyone who would like a professional FUE transplant at an excellent value. My only recommendation is to have more explanation for each step of the transplant by the technicians performing it. But they were very helpful when asked about each step. The clinic is very impressive, contemporary and hygienic. The administrative staff prior the the surgery and after the surgery and the after checkup are indeed caring and professional. Miss Hind was wonderful to be around and explained how to take the medication and after treatment perfectly. Clinic is superb and would recommend for any one wanting to fee comfortable with this FUE transplant surgery.

The treatment I received from the staff at clinicana was very good
From the moment I landed at the airport up until I left every question I needed to know was answered
The procedure itself was trouble free and a lot less hassle than I thought it would
I would highly recommend the treatment that I received at clinicana/
The hardest part was doing the video at the end ha ha/

My hair transplant treatment went great. I arrived the day before the surgery for blood tests, and advice from the doctor. On the day of the operation, it was quite straight forward:
1) they first shaved my head (no need to do so before)
2) they then applied anesthesia to the back of my head (where the follicles were removed) – this part was the most painful, as several injections were applied across different areas. But the pain didn’t last for more than a few minutes.
3) they removed approximately 4,000 follicles from the back of my head, which took around 2.5 hours, during which I was lying flat on my stomach. (make sure to mention if you’re uncomfortable to the nurses). The process was painless.
4) I sat up as the doctor and a specialized nurse then drew out the area of the transplant with quite a bit of precision, and asked if I was comfortable with it before proceeding.
4) I then lied on my back as the nurses applied another group of anesthesia injections (roughly in half the time as the first anesthesia), followed by applying micro-holes on the recipient area of my head through multiple injections. This is where the implantation would take place. This process was also painless, and took around 1.5 hours)
5) I then had a nice meal and quick bathroom break. (around 30 minutes total)
6) Finally, in the last 2 hours two nurses applied the implants on to the recepient area, which was painless too. I had my earphones on and was reading on my kindle to pass time.

I am Lebanese by origin, living in Qatar. I heard about this clinic through a friend and highly recommend it! The pick up from the airport, to the stay in the hotel, to the hospital was impeccable.

Only advice is to try to do this with some friends, as the next day of the operation can be quite embarrassing with a big band-aid all over your head, and some bleeding from the top. Nothing like sharing an embarrassment with others 🙂
Nonetheless, just like teeth braces, is well worth it!
